This morning i woke up feeling very unhappy, don't know why, felt very disorganized too. with no reason, just felt that things are gonna be wrong one way or another? No confident, no idea of what is gonna happen, didn't feel like handle anything and anybody. Then I realized that it is because I needed to go away and spend time with God. Before I let my feelings get a hold on me, i need to do something! a voice inside me told me that, and I believe that is the spirit of God prompting me. I took some time off to contemplate and think about what I've learn from His word and cling on to His promises and to him, knowing that whatever it is that caused me to be uncertain, frustrated and lost, they can never take away all that my Lord has planted in me through all these years of studying and understanding His word, and the times when He led me through situations far more difficult then this. So please don't give up walking and listening to God and journey with him even in your "good" days, becasue you'll never know when those "bad" days is gonna come. But I can assure you that if you keep your steps close to Him, you will never fall away, but will find strength to get up and keep on moving. Today is a good day indeed.
Tonight Ivy, Ben and myself went back to SIMS DRIVE my old house to have dinner. So nostalgic according to my wife! I was just pure hungry. However, as we were waiting for our food, I had a sudden urge to take a picture of that moment and blog about it. Is this being nostalgic? Oppps i think so! Anyway, as I was staring at my block, memories of the goodness of God kept coming to my mind. How He graciously provided for us, how He had allowed us to bless many people with that house, and precious moments where we fought, cry and talk about our marriage. CG meetings, Guys overnights and earthquakes (we were so dead asleep and didn't feel anything until we read the news). So much to thank God for and so much to remember. To end, I still prefer my present house! lol.... Bigger, nicer, windier, Soooooooooooo Convenient and accessible, NTUC just downstairs, got 3 coffee shops and MRT is just a min away!!!!! Thanks be to GOD! And may we continue to a blessing to many with this beautify house he has again graciously given to us.
2008 passed by so quickly! Really want to thank God for His faithfulness in guiding and teaching me precious lessons. lessons that caused me to keep turning to him for strength and comfort. They were not very pleasant for a start, because it requires me to step out of my comfort zone to do thing His way and not my way. Thank God for allowing me to journey with him and find joy and fruit at the end of every experiences. Looking forward to see what God has in stored for me this year, as I keep walking in and with Him. One thing I really want to do this year, came from Mr Gn's teaching on Psalms 27. That I must seek God EXCLUSIVELY, DESPERATELY and PERSISTENTLY. the verse that I hold on to and wish to keep reminding myself is
