An answer for why you believe, to those who ask you. This is a good exampleof an answer to one of the most common reasons people give for ignoring Godand His goodness. A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and hisbeard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a goodconversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Whenthey eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don'tbelieve that God exists." Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tellme, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there beabandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering norpain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things." The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't wantto start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left theshop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street withlong, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty andunkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and hesaid to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist." How can you saythat?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I justworked on you!" No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because ifthey did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside." Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens, is, peopledo not come to me. " Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point!God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do notlook for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

I'll paint you a rainbow as a gift from me,Then hang it from heaven for the whole world to see.On a canvas of love I'll cover your fears,With a soft brush I'll dry all your tears.I'll paint you a rainbow with feelings so deep,My stroke will be gentle, my touch you may keep.On a palette of words I will tenderly blend,Colorful thoughts with bright verses to send.I'll paint you a rainbow in reds, blues and gold,Stretched like loving arms ready to enfold. And deep in the center of the most vibrant hue,I'll etch from memory the essence of you.I'll paint you a rainbow, a bridge to my heart,So loneliness and pain can begin to depart.Just look up at the sky when life hits a bend,I painted a rainbow for YOU.

Sometimes I ask the question,"My Lord, is this your will?"It's then I hear you answer me,"My Precious Child...be still."Sometimes I feel frustrated, cause I think I know what's best. It's then I hear you say to me,"My Busy Child...just rest!""I know the plans I have for you,the wondrous things you'll see;If you can just be patient, Child, and put your trust in me.I've plans to draw you closer.I've plans to help you grow. There's much I do you cannotsee and much you do not know. But know this, Child...I LOVE YOU.You are Precious unto Me.Before I formed you in the womb,I planned your destiny. I'vesomething very specialI hope for you to learn. The gifts I wish to give to youare gifts you cannot earn. They come without a price tag,but not without a cost; at Calvary,I gave My Son, so You would not be lost.Rest Child, and do not grow wearyof doing what is good.I promise I'll come back for youjust like I said I would.Your name is written on my palm,I never could forget; Therefore,do not be discouraged when my answer is..."Not Yet!"
