Hey, I and Ranald went shopping today and I was his fashion consultant for a day...FREE somemore. I helpped him choose one very nice shirt and a pair of black pants. Very nice!!!!! He is going to wear it this sunday, look out for it. And i went back to church to clean up the youth room, kind of changed the structure abit, you can come and take a look as and when you like! I think it's nicer. come and see for yourself lah. Pray for me, this week will be a little siong for me, I need to do sunday school taching, prepare confirmation class teaching, lead worship for blanded service this sunday. WOW!!!! But I know the Lord is with me through it all and also you guys too. Pray for me ok? thanks kiews first!!!

I would like to share with you about the QT i did few days ago as I keep thinking and pondering on what the word of God has taught me. I studied Psalm 1:1-3 and James 1:2-4, Ps - Talk about blessed are those who lives by the stream, where they find everflowing grace and providence and as a result they flourish and bear much fruits. In it they find true happines and satisfation in their growth, in contrast to those who walk, stand and seat with the wicked, scoffers and sinners where they are not blessed by God, and find no true happiness and satisfation in live.
James - Where I leanrt about perseverence must finished it's work and that is to stand firm in all testings of my faith. I have been thinking about it, and I thought to myself that I must learnt to perseverence and stand firm, continue to draw strength and growth from the stream, and not to forgo this privilledge by moving away from it and walk towards the wicked side where i don't find true happiness and satisfation. Hold on to the teaching of God and practice them, and not to give in to temptations. In my case I must not procastinate or even entertaining the tought of it when I need to get things done. Or give in to temporal satisfation of self desire like laziness, anger, or even trying to justify my wrong doing. I thank the Lord for teaching me in such details so that I truly understand what his word is saying, it's important because my understanding will affect my application, and I want to apply correcetly and glorify him.

I want to thank God for the gathering yesterday. It was a very fun and enjoying time. The dinner was great, but the fellowship was greater! This is one of the few moments that me, my sis and and brother can come together and have some time of bonding and sharing. Together with my sisther's Darling(Augustine) and my wife(Ivy). What a haapy family!!!! Hey! can you find Xabier here????

The Lord is my comfort! I find my peace and strength in His holy character. In him I surrender all my worries and disappointments, for I know that he has his plan. I continue to pray for myself, that I don't depend on how I feel when things are not very smooth and desirable to me, but rather to trust in His word and promises. I must trust the Lord, so that I don't entertain wrong feelings that eventually affect my serving and my relationship with people. May the Lord grant me strength and ability to overcome discuragements and disappointments. You can also pray fo me ok? Thanks.

Yesterday I went for a talk on understand my muslim friends. It was quite insightful, if you think that God doesn't reach out to this group of people, you are wrong. The speaker shared a very touching testimony of this arabian girl who became a christian but in their culture, she is not allow to reveal that to the community, so she secratly hide her bible in this room in her house where they kept all unwanted things. But to her surprise, she found another bible in the same room. She was very shock and happy, becasue someone in her home is also a Christian, she thought it must be her mother, so she decided to put her bible in her room and see when her mother cleans her room and saw the bible, she will response accordingly. true enough, when she came home, her mother ran towards her and hug her with tears of joy! This testimony cause me to believe that God still reach out to muslims even through in a country that seems impossible! This is the greatness of GOD. I always think that the muslims devotion is something we Christian need to learn. We know the one true God, but sad to say that many of us are not very devoted to Him. this also casue me to think about my devotion for God, you can also ponder and refect on this too.

When I look at pictures that assure me of his love, I rest in confident and trust in him, that he is always there for me. I thank the Lord for giving me that ability to believe in his presence and to completely put my whole being in his hand. I pray that I will give to him all that I can to glorify him and to love each day. May this be your prayer too. Another day to ponder and thank God for His greatness.

Yesterday, Tim's addidas shoe was stolen! Wah.... Then me and ranald go and check the CCTV, and found out that a malay guy just walked in and change his shoe with tim's one!!! Wah! so daring!!!! Then ranald went to investigate the whole bedok south area, he found that guy! And thank GOd we got the shoe back from him and nothing happened to us, maybe becasue both ranald and me look big and macho!!! He scared!!! LoL!!!! Anyway Tim is so happy!!!!! What a day!

YES! our annual mission trip is coming! We are gojng to eat our fav "Kaijiao Moosup"!!! and meet our lamb driver Phi Dude!!! It will be from 01 Decenber to 10 December06!!! This time round other youths from other Lutheran churches will join us too! We are going to the same place, Ubon Rachathani. Same like the previous trip we are going to teach English in the school there, but we are trying to make it more interective and Gospel oriented!!! Pray with us that we can make an impact in the people's life this time round then just go there and befriend them. We also hope to shre our teatimony in thai to them!!! Cool right? In thai you know? That will mean we have to wrok very hard in learning their language. Pray for us and pray with us! Like what the bible say: How beautiful is the feet that bring good news! My morning glory! God my very first thought in the day. How can we leave our house without setting our mind on God? If you go forth to live your day for him, it would be right to start the day with him. Try saying a little prayer, quiet down your heart before him 5mins before you leave your house, commit to him your day and you will find that your day will be filled with his presence. Try it! that's what it means when we say we simple live for him. If not God only "became" in your life when you goes to church or when you are with Christian.

We must have the habit of thanking God everyday. BUt is this what a CHristian life is all about? Can your friends tell that you are different becasue you have God in your life?

The older I am as a Christian, the more I must realize that it can be very dangerous if I think I know a lot, or am more “senior” than many people, or have experienced a lot, or even worse, that I can excuse myself from some sins I have committed due to my seniority! In fact, the older I grow, the more I should be aware of my spiritual condition, that I don’t think of myself incorrectly, and be self centered in anyway. Recently, as I reflected on myself, I was alarmed that I actually disregarded God in my life!

It was before the LCS retreat, when the idea of a 500 people retreat was made know to me. I made a statement that showed my disregard for God. I said,“Aiya… it’s not going to be fun with 500 people trying very hard just to gather, not to mention maximum participation. They are not going to meet the objective of putting us together to know each other better” It may seem like just a comment. But only later did I realize that I was so wrong, when God showed me how great the retreat was and how everyone enjoyed themselves, and was very much ministered by the message from Bishop Solomon.

I asked the Lord for forgiveness, and learnt that when I make a statement like this, I am actually saying, “God, my knowledge from many years in YFC tells me that when you allow this retreat to happen, it will turn out to be a wrong move. I totally forgot about God’s sovereignty! I failed to trust God that if He wills it to happen, He wills it for a purpose and that it is the best thing. I was put to shame by my own “fake cleverness”, and came to the acknowledgement of His wonderful and marvelous plan.

Then this proverb came to my mind,
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding
Proverbs 3:5

See! How dangerous it can be when one gets older as a Christian! I thought I was careful enough to examine myself, and yet I can still sin against God to such great extent! But I thank the Lord for his Holy Spirit that is at work in me to bring this to my attention, so that I can come before the Lord and confess and learn and grow to love him more each day. I also hope that my mistake can serve as a warning to you, that as you get older as a Christian, it doesn’t mean you can be less aware of your spiritual condition. In fact, you should be more on your feet and K.O.G Keep On Growing till the day of Christ.

The Lord is the lighthouse in our lives, which guides us through it all.

Thank you all for praying! She is fine. There were many learning experiences for her in this trip, I thank the Lord for causing her to grow and learn to depend on him even more.

Now that she is back! Yeah.... got people do house work liao! I can pass over to her already. Thank God for my wife! heehee
